Campsite Review for Watertop Farm, Ballycastle submitted on 26th Aug 2019 by R Kearney
My husband and I are just back from a Bank Holiday break with our 2
children 4&5 year at Watertop farm Ballycastle.
I have got to say as far as it goes it is definitely the best campsite I've
been to with the children. So much to do. Walks around lakes, waterfalls,
boating on the lake, horses, barrow rides, parks everything you need to keep
the children happy is there. They had a ball and told me they don't ever want
to go anywhere else again on holiday!!!
The extra activities are chargeable BUT being a camper you don't have to pay
into the farm and they do camping special £10 for a bunch of activities. It was
well worth it. It even has a wee cottage that has old things in it and the fire
is lit, chairs all round so you can chat.
Ballycastle fab location, stunning part of the world.
Only thing I will say is it's a working farm the sounds and smells are there
lol, and the lighting to the toilets isn't great at night. But I'd never be
holding that against the place. It's fab, and if the weather is good your going
to really enjoy it.
