Campsite Review

Review for Cranfield Caravan Park, Kilkeel submitted on 29th May 2018 by T Walker
We stayed at this site from Friday to Sunday. On first arriving having never been before we found it a little confusing & didn't no how to check in. However after a little walk around we found the building & got checked in, all ok. We stayed on pitch 2 over looking the beach. Well what a view! I can't describe just how beautiful it was! Weather was terrible when we arrived, but after 2 hours the sun was shining and it was just beautiful. Very peaceful & relaxing. We have 2 dogs (Boxer & Shih Tzu), this place was perfect for them. Walks on the beach morning, noon & night! Facilities are clean but small however the touring park isn't very big so not a big deal unless maybe if we stayed at peak times. With only 1 ladies shower I would maybe need to queue for a bit to get washed! Lovely play park for kids on site which is great if you have them! Park is very clean & tidy, well looked after. We cafe round corner if you fancy a bite to eat & also a wee chip van & shop on next site! All in all one of the best sites we have visited & can't wait to go back!
