Great news Campsites, Caravan Parks and Holiday Parks have been given dates as to when they can re-open both in the North and South of Ireland.
UPATE Northern Ireland Government bring dates forward to 26th June for opening of sites with self contained units.
Sites in South of Ireland are allowed to reopen on the 29th June 2020 while sites in the North have the date 20th July but this could all change and is base on the 'R' rate staying below 1.
We will try our best to keep you updated with what each site is offering in facilities etc and what the government has approved.
Please see below a list of sites that work with CampingNI with details on dates of opening, booking, facilities etc this may vary from each site and could change on a daily basis so we will endeavour to keep this information as up to date as possible.

We are pleased to announce that we are now taking Bookings for our Touring Pitches from the 10th July and Holiday Rental Caravans from the 20th July.
Unfortunately we are limiting the number of pitches available to reduce the risk of spreading Covid-19.
Some restrictions will be in place. For example, our Toilet/Shower facilities (for touring customers), Playground and Games Room will all be closed.

We are planning to open on 26th June. This summer we are just taking bookings for caravanners who are willing to use their own facilities. We are not taking bookings for tents. (Caravans & Motorhomes with onboard facilities only, no tents)
Just a quick note to say our caravan park will be open for STATIC caravans on the 26th June (as per the updated Government Guidelines). All caravan owners will be receiving a letter in the next few days on how the reopening will be handled.
Our TOURING park will be opening with a reduced capacity and we are fully booked until 15th July.
All on-site facilities will remain closed for the safety of all at the park.

Great News!! We can now take bookings for our Self Catering Lodges & Holiday Homes from the 26th June!! Get your summer holidays booked now. Book early to avoid disappointment! Touring Caravan Pitches can also be booked.
Causeway Coast & Glens Council sites - Benone, Carrick Dhu, Juniper Hill, Cushendall, Cushenden & Drumaheglis UPDATE
From 10.00 am on Friday 26th June, Static and Seasonal caravan licence holders will be able to access the parks.
From Wednesday 1st July, pitches will be available for touring caravan and motorhome visitors at all 6 of our Holiday and Leisure Parks and the Sandhill Drive Air-de-Service facility. Bookings, except for Sandhill, can be made online from 10.00am on 21st June. If a telephone booking is required it can be made from 10.00am on 23rd June.
Please note that we are required to follow Government guidelines and the following safety measures have been introduced:
- Only those units that are self-contained – toilet and washing facilities in the van – can be brought on to a park;
- On-site facilities will be restricted to sluice facilities, bins and disabled facilities: all other buildings / playparks remain closed;
- Due to this, no tent / pod / glamp / lodge customers can be accommodated at this time;
- Contact with staff on a park will be kept to a minimum, and passes / keys will be managed hygienically;
- Check-in and check-out times, and Terms & Conditions will be strictly implemented.
Antrim & Newtownabbey Council sites - Jordanstown & Six Mile Water UPDATE
They remain closed but the council are continually reviewing their services during the Covid 19. When they have an update it will be on the social media and website.
Lisburn and Castlereagh Council site - Dundonald UPDATE
Dundonald Touring Caravan Park is now temporarily closed. This is arising from the COVID-19 epidemic and is in line with guidance aimed at reducing the potential for cross infection.
We are delighted to hear that we will be able to re-open the park from the 29th of June. We have only heard of the changes to the phased plan and we are waiting to receive specific guidelines and regulations as to how we can operate safely once open.
We will be planning our reopening as soon as we receive the guidelines and hope that things will be clearer within a week. We can't take bookings until then and we're grateful for your patience. We're a small site, so capacity will be limited and unfortunately it looks like we will be unable to accommodate tents this year.

Space will be more limited this year due to social distancing so if you are thinking of coming we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

The Irish Government have announced campsites will be allowed to reopen from the 29th of June!!
Your health and welfare, and that of our staff and community, is a priority for us and therefore the following restrictions will be in place so we can adhere to the social distancing guidelines:
· We will be operating at a reduced capacity
· Our facility building will remain CLOSED
· You must be self sufficient in your caravan/motorhome.
· Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate tent bookings
· All pitches must be pre-booked

Following the hugely positive Government announcement on Friday last, that hospitality businesses can re-open earlier than originally planned, we have had a flurry of enquiries asking whether we will now be re-opening the site sooner than 20th July. So we just wanted to provide a quick update!
Whilst we are absolutely delighted that the re-opening date for hospitality businesses has been brought forward, the challenges we face in ensuring that our team and guests are kept safe and well, still remain.
In recent weeks, we have been busy making changes and adapting the site for a post-Covid world, but we are still awaiting the Government's re-opening guidelines and until we receive them, we won't know what more must be done to achieve full compliance. So for that reason, we can't confirm an earlier re-opening date just yet.
What we can say is that we are very keen to re-open sooner than 20 July, so as soon as the re-opening guidelines are published by the Government (which we hope will be this week), we will review the situation and post an update on our website and social media platforms so keep a wee eye out for updates!
