Campsite Reviews for Deighans Caravan Park, Benone

Review for Deighans, Benone submitted on 1st Sept 2020 by B Orr

After doing a lot of research and reading online reviews on where I wanted to take the family for their main summer holidays I chose Deighans at Benone.

Well we weren't disappointed. We booked a hardstanding pitch and they are massive with ehu but not fully serviced with water and drainage. This didn't detract from the quality of our stay however. The reception staff were very helpful even when we had an issue with the gas supply to our cooker they organised a mobile caravan engineer to come out and sort the problem out. The site is immaculately maintained we were guided to our pitch and told exactly where to position the caravan to allow previously used grass to regrow. The showers were £1 for 7 minutes and the water was hot and plenty of it. Both the showers and the toilets were immaculately clean.

Benone beach was 10 minutes walk or we drove down onto the beach which was amazing for swimming and body boarding.

We ate at The Anglers Rest Pub just 2 minutes walk outside the complex and the food and service was excellent.

Lots of fantastic scenery surrounding for days out and visiting The Game of Thrones location for filming was stunning looking at it from the summit lake where you can go fishing.

Would we go again? Yes yes yes

Our first time taking the caravan anywhere, we had booked Deighans Caravan Park. it was a Great choice the place was Quite, Clean and Friendly. With great views from Our caravan window. The beach is few mins walk which you can also drive your car on to, lots to see and do. We will differently return again and again.
