Fantastic campsite. Facilities kept very neat and tidy. Very safe site for children. Great location for forest walks. Would definitely stay again.

Review for Glenariff Forest Park
submitted by L McQuaid on 17th July 2017.
New site, 35 caravan
pitches. They don't take tents. Perfect for walking/hiking. Beautiful waterfall
walks and better viewed after heavy rain. Park right beside it. Brand new
toilet block. There is a campers kitchen and laundry room which is currently
out of use as the forestery service don't seem to have the time to man the
site. Must be booked before hand as you need a pin code to enter through the
barrier and the office is only open 9-4 Monday to Friday. I stayed on my own
for 5 nights with 3 children (10, 8 & 4) and felt very safe. It was very
quiet all week with the most staying on Sunday night, 7 in total. Majority of
stayers were foreigners who only stayed for 1 nights. We loved it, the only
downside was the midges...ate alive! Thank goodness the hubby brought the diffuser
and lemongrass oil on Saturday....a godsend.
