Lovely forest park, all tarmac touring pitches with electric hook up, or you can stay on the camping field without electric. Make sure when booking if you want to put an awning up, not to book the dovecote court yard, as you cannot put an awning up. 

Castlewellan forest park has a lovely lake to walk around, and its on the flat. Also a great maze and a play area for the kids. It also has mountain bike trails, and a small bike area for the kids. Bikes can be hired out from the park, and you can fish on the lake, with lots of places for a picnic, it is a very well run park, with clean toilets and shower blocks, also very close to the town, for shops, pubs and restaurants. 

This again is a very well run site for the price, of only £18 per night, and £21 with electric hook up.

Beautiful site in a fantastic location from the castle to the beautiful gardens, forest, lake and lots of activities. Wonderful walks, cycling, peace maze and children’s playground. The Facilities are a bit dated but very clean and the Rangers are very approachable and friendly and take their work very seriously. The Town is a short walk away with everything you could need from pubs, Restaurants and shops.
