Great facilities hard pitch with grass is lovely site the loughview is
just a car park walks in wood and around marina lovely
Walk into local village for mace chippy and three bars
Chinese on site

We stayed on this
site for two nights with the two dogs ,we were handed quite alot of keys as
everything including the entrance barrier is kept locked all the time . The
site is very clean and very quiet , no fires are allowed and there is a
designated area for bbqs . Nice chinese takeaway down by the marina as well as
a cafe . The forest was great for a stroll and for the kids there was a good
play area just across from the pitches . Ballyronan itself has three pubs ,
and off licence ,chippy, shop and petrol station all just a few minutes walk
too. The midgies were nowhere near as bad as a few other sites we were at , but
it is worthwhile bringing the repellant sprays etc just incase . We definately
will be back as it was very relaxing and everyone we spoke too was very
friendly.
